OUR LEAD COACH (and CEO)
Liz is a dedicated professional with a rich background in teaching, educational leadership and administration. She has consistently demonstrated her ability to drive academic excellence and foster a supportive learning environment. With extensive experience as a teacher and educational consultant, Liz is committed to implementing effective teaching strategies and promoting continuous professional improvement. Her passion for education is evident in her collaborative approach and her unwavering dedication to student success.
Liz has worked closely with Michael McDowell, and many other globally renowned experts, over many years and is able to contextualise and apply the learning, applying it to the complexity of schools and creating small, concrete, manageable steps. As the Lead Coach, Liz follows on from the Summit to embed rigorous teaching and learning through supporting school leaders to build sustainable systems.
Liz has spearheaded numerous system-wide improvement initiatives, including organising and leading Study Tours for Principals (K-12) to Finland, Singapore, Ontario (Canada), and Shanghai (China), each meticulously designed to explore effective practices and their underlying principles. She has developed targeted strategies to address various challenges such as team restructures, the L!FT (Learning Impact from Teaching) program, and the Family School Partnership initiative. Additionally, Liz has been instrumental in establishing and sustaining impactful roles like Instructional Leaders and Pedagogical Mentors (K-12). As an accredited teacher, she has consistently demonstrated classroom effectiveness, leveraging her skills to problem-solve and differentiate instruction across the diverse learning continuum.
Liz holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and is known for her innovative solutions and strategic vision in the field of education.
